CINCINNATI (September 25, 2023) – Thomas and Galbraith Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is proud to announce it is providing a complimentary Carrier Home heating and cooling system to an outstanding local educator.
CINCINNATI (September 25, 2023) – Thomas and Galbraith Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is proud to announce it is providing a complimentary Carrier Home heating and cooling system to an outstanding local educator.
Since 2022, MAX Service Group, the organization that operates Thomas and Galbraith Heating, Cooling and Plumbing as well as other Midwest heating, air conditioning, and plumbing companies, has provided free heating and cooling systems to educators in each market where the company operates.
This year, a free Carrier home comfort system is being given to Tammy Dearinger, Preschool Intervention Specialist at Southwest Early Childhood Learning Center, a part of Southwest Local School District. Dearinger chose teaching as her second career path and has been teaching since 2017. In this particular role, she says she loves the ability to empower students to learn new things and absorb the world around them. While students find inspiration from her, it goes both ways.
“I am on a mission to show up every day to provide opportunities and consistency,” said Dearinger. “I am currently receiving immunotherapy/chemotherapy for ongoing cancer treatment. I don’t take time off because being a teacher and getting to interact with kids gives me a reason to keep myself going. Although they don’t realize it, my students give me the motivation to move forward. I want to make sure I’m there for them as they start their educational journey.”
“Working in education comes with challenges, but it is one of the most important fields of work there is,” said Greg Wells, President of Thomas and Galbraith Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. “Providing educators with a free HVAC system is a way we say thank you to those teachers and other educators who are working so hard each day to ready our youth for tomorrow. We are very happy to help these individuals who do so much to help others.”
Thomas and Galbraith Heating, Cooling and Plumbing’s teacher home comfort system giveaway is part of its MAX Gives campaign that focuses on charitable contributions to the community. Other initiatives have included HVAC giveaways to families in need, water heater giveaways to first responders and community volunteers, monthly donations to various charities, scholarships to deserving high school seniors and donations to families during the holiday season.
