Hailey B., Anderson High School

Hailey's outstanding academic performance, marked by a 4.0 GPA and induction into the National Honor Society, alongside her completion of honors, AP, and college courses while in high school, is a testament to her hard work and dedication to her education. Outside the classroom, her extracurricular activities include theater and Key Club, where she volunteers every month with an elementary school and orchestrates engaging activities for the students.

William P., St. Xavier High School

William has achieved an incredible amount both academically and outside the classroom. He will be graduating with a GPA over 4.0, but also excels in athletics. He’s played intramural soccer and basketball, but baseball is his primary passion, and he’s played on the school’s baseball team all four years. Recently, he tore his ACL, which presented a challenge he was able to overcome by taking on coaching duties within the team. Beyond the field, William volunteers at St. James Church and participates in Boy Scouts.

Kaitlyn J., Edgewood High School

Not only does Kaitlyn have an exceptional academic record that includes graduating within the top ten students in her graduating class, but she is also an engaged member of her school community. She is a member of the National Honor Society, show choir and student government, serves as the Officer of Community Outreach for DECA, an organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management, and volunteers for organizations that are close to her heart, including Best Buddies and Sending Sunshine.

Emily W., Madison High School

As President of the National Honor Society and leader on the girls’ basketball team, Emily is a standout at Madison High School who has demonstrated both resilience and passion during her time in and outside of school. Beyond her academic and extracurricular pursuits, Emily possesses a genuine passion for others and plans to study to become a speech pathologist.

Sam T., Homeschool

Sam has thrived both academically and within his community. Outside of his studies, Sam has led his rocketry team to success in many ways, including by developing an air brake system that required heavy calculus and software development work to control the rocket's altitude precisely to 820 feet. He also has a history of using creative solutions to solve problems and acting as a leader.

“We are thrilled to once again support our local community by recognizing some of its youngest leaders,” said Mike Roszkowski, President of Thomas & Galbraith Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. “As an organization, we prioritize hard work, initiative and leadership. These scholarship winners, all nominated by their loved ones and peers, display those same values. We’re proud and excited to support them and wish them all the best in their promising futures.”

MAX Scholarships for Leadership is part of the MAX Gives campaign that focuses on charitable contributions to the community. Other community involvement and charitable initiatives have included HVAC giveaways to families in need and teachers, water heater giveaways to first responders and community volunteers, monthly donations to various charities, and donations to families during the holiday season.
